<p>This view of the park shows what was once a public pool. I believe the pool was originally feed by the active springs in the park. (The largest of the springs are located at the far end of the pool, and aren&#8217;t really visible in this shot.) It was later converted to a traditional style chlorinated pool. As you can see, it&#8217;s now fallen into disuse.
<p>San Pedro park is the second oldest municipal park in the U.S. It was declared public land in 1729 by King Phillip V of Spain. </p>

Nikon D300 w/ 18-200vr. I didn&#8217;t expect much from this lens in this situation, but it did a pretty darn good job.
