The band "Two Tons of Steel" performed at the San Antonio Stock Show grounds on Feb 6th, 2010. They really got the crowd moving!

Front man Kevin Geil, shown here, describes their sound as “countrybilly”. For eight years, the band has been voted "Best Country Band" by the San Antonio Current. IMHO, calling them a "country band" falls far short of describing their musical versatility. These guys really rocked!

U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration team members during take off at the Wings Over Houston air show.

I went out to the show briefly on Sunday morning. My shoes got soaked walking through the wet grass to get to the bus. Then it started raining pretty hard right after I got there.

I thought I was a die-hard airshow fan, but I guess not – I sure didn’t stay long!

Anyway, at least I got this shot. (No, the Thunderbirds were NOT at the show, but they did have this one on static display.)
